Star-Delta transformer wiring diagrams, also known as Y-Δ diagrams, are a type of electrical engineering diagrams used to illustrate the connection and relationship between a star-delta control system and its components. These diagrams are designed to provide a visual representation of the electrical connections that make up the control system, making it easier to troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments to the setup when needed.

In a Star-Delta transformer wiring diagram, the "star points" are shown in yellow and the "delta points" in red. Each point is labeled with a letter or number to indicate the purpose of the point. The star points typically represent the primary winding of the transformer, while the delta points are the secondary winding. Additionally, there are two additional points located on the diagram, which represent the center taps of each winding.

The wires within the diagrams typically follow three paths from the star point to the delta point. The first path is the main connection for power to the primary winding, while the second and third paths are for the secondary winding. In some cases, the secondary winding may be split into two separate parts, called a bi-polar connection. In this case, the wires will follow two separate paths, one connecting the positive and negative sides of the secondary winding.

These diagrams usually involve a series of points connected by arrows to indicate the flow of current.
